- I have never been stopped for speeding.
- I have never been in an accident.
- I backed into a parked car when I was eighteen; this is the only "fender bender" I've ever been in.
- I learned to drive in San Diego, CA in approximately 1997-1998 in a Ford F-150. I can drive ANYTHING now.
- I am the third-worst passenger I know, unless I am passengering w/ frog. (#1: Moose. #2: Bear.)
- I was flooded out of my car recently, and it was totaled. (Damn flash floods.)
- I did not get my license until I was eighteen.
- I only missed two on my driver's test.
- My first car was a Ford Tempo that Bear bought for me when I moved to IA.
- My dream car is a bright-pink mini-cooper w/ a chihuahua in the back seat.
This is the real, behind-the-scenes drama, yes drama, that goes on in the daily life of a woman pushing every border and redifining every label.

I have been trying to come up with a fun story about driving, but I seriously got nothin'. So, here are some not-so-interesting facts about my driving history:

John thinks I am the world's worst passenger. I will warn him of someone merging into traffic from miles away and warn him when "that guy looks like he might want to go into your lane". I get yelled at for that a lot. You're linked!
ReplyDeleteHi there! I came over from the Spin Cycle!
ReplyDeleteI have also never been stopped for speeding, I was 19 when I got my license, and my first car was a Ford Escort. However my dream car is a Silver Nissan Altima. I'm told I don't know how to live.
I'm not a good passenger with people that tailgate, constantly stepping on a peddle that isn't there..lol Love your dream car, mines a Rolls Royce or a Jag. :0)
ReplyDeleteI also came from the spin cycle! I hope you didn't jinx yourself for listing what you haven't had for driving! :) Also, my husband thinks I am a terrible passenger becuase I always make the gulping noise when I think he's going to hit something and he freaks out!
ReplyDeletekendraseu just cracked me up.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I love San Diego, what a great place to grwow up.
Wow, I envy your record. What makes you a bad passenger? I tend to sleep as a passenger, which is good for not "backseat driving" but bad for co-piloting!
